Early morning to after dinner, find here my favourite cafe/bistrot/bars where the taste of Puglia is nice and quality. Nice places with ambience where to indulge in the best coffee, pastries, light lunch and even serious dining…
.
A Lecce landmark, this design bistrot stays open all day and it’s super busy. Be it the beautiful design, the central postion or the captivating menu, 00 Is just unique.
It is the only place in town serving continental breakfast, of course along with proper italian caffeteria, bakeries, panini bites, and healthy cold press juices. Brunch onwards the menu turns into a journey from Puglia to Greece with tasty super salads, decadent cheese platters and creative main courses at dinner time.
With its fancy international clientele this is also a good spot for mingling and socializing
Escape the chaos of the old town and reach this tiny kiosk bar with large alfresco space in the residential area of Sette Lacquare, on the way to the beach of San Foca and San Cataldo.
Barrito is a must for the Leccese mid-upper class (of all ages), who gather here every day to enjoy the casual atmosphere, the excellent coffee and the honest drinks served along with a wide choice of good bakeries, panini and rosticceria. Great aperitivos!
They are usually super busy, which doesn’t really affect the friendly and generally fast service. On Saturday mornings and every evening in spring-summer, here you can experience some the socializing patterns (if you make it for breakfast, the nearby farmers market is a must – it’s open until midday)

This quality café & bistrot includes an extensive bookstore and a wine shop. An interesting address for a break in style in the old town’s very heart.
Everything is quality here, from the serious cafeteria to the bistrot they offer a good choice of local treats with an international twist. And really good wine.
Wonderful location: the big inside space is very well designed, while the alfresco area is a privileged spot for watching the lively leccese passeggiata (if you don’t mind the big crowds passing by). At breakfast instead it’s quite and chill, great spot to enjoy old town Lecce’s early morning vibe
